The TCR2 register controls the TCNT operation for each channel in combination with the TCR register. The MTU has a
total of eight TCR2 registers, one each for MTU0 to MTU4 and three (TCR2U, TCR2V, and TCR2W) for MTU5. TCR2
values should be specified only while TCNT operation is stopped.
TPSC2[2:0] Bits (Time Prescaler Select)
These bits select the TCNT count clock source. The count clock source can be selected independently for each channel.
Refer to Table 19.6 to Table 19.9 for details.
PCB[1:0] Bits (Phase Counting Mode Function Expansion Control)
These bits control extended functions for phase counting mode 2, 3, and 5 in MTU1 and MTU2. Refer to section
19.3.6, Phase Counting Mode .
