PM Bit (Parity Mode)
Selects the parity mode for transmission and reception (even or odd).
For details on the usage of this bit in smart card interface mode, refer to section 23.6.2, Data Format (Except in Block
Transfer Mode) .
PE Bit (Parity Enable)
Set the PE bit to 1.
The parity bit is added to transmit data before transmission, and the parity bit is checked in reception.
BLK Bit (Block Transfer Mode)
Setting this bit to 1 allows block transfer mode operation.
For details, refer to section 23.6.3, Block Transfer Mode .
GM Bit (GSM Mode)
Setting this bit to 1 allows GSM mode operation.
In GSM mode, the SSR.TEND flag set timing is put forward to 11.0 etu (elementary time unit = 1-bit transfer time) from
the start and the clock output control function is appended. For details, refer to section 23.6.6, Serial Data
Transmission (Except in Block Transfer Mode) and section 23.6.8, Clock Output Control .
