Figure 19.166 shows a case in which an error occurs in complementary PWM mode and operation is restarted in
complementary PWM mode after re-setting (operation is restarted using new period and duty ratio settings).

(1) to (10) are the same as in Figure 19.163 .
(11) Set normal mode and make new settings (MTU output goes low).
(12) Disable output in MTU3 and MTU4 with the TOERA register.
(13) Select the complementary PWM output level and enable or disable cyclic output with registers TOCR1A and
TOCR2A.
(14) Set complementary PWM mode.
(15) Enable output in MTU3 and MTU4 with the TOERA register.
(16) Set MTU output using the MPC and port mode registers (PMR) corresponding to the I/O ports.
(17) Restart operation by setting the TSTRA register.
