(25) Operation When Error Occurs in Complementary PWM Mode and Operation is Restarted in
Reset-Synchronized PWM Mode
Figure 19.167 shows a case in which an error occurs in complementary PWM mode and operation is restarted in reset-
synchronized PWM mode after re-setting.

(1) to (10) are the same as in Figure 19.163 .
(11) Set normal mode (MTU output goes low).
(12) Disable output in MTU3 and MTU4 with the TOERA register.
(13) Select the reset-synchronized PWM output level and enable or disable cyclic output with registers TOCR1A and
TOCR2A.
(14) Set reset-synchronized PWM mode.
(15) Enable output in MTU3 and MTU4 with the TOERA register.
(16) Set MTU output using the MPC and port mode registers (PMR) corresponding to the I/O ports.
(17) Restart operation by setting the TSTRA register.
