Command Reference Guide
voice trunk <trunk id> type
Use the voice trunk type command to define a new trunk for use with a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
or integrated services digital network (ISDN) interface. Executing this command activates the Voice Trunk
Configuration mode for the individual trunk. Refer to
information on the commands in that mode. Other trunk types are explained in
analog supervision on page
Variations of this command include:
voice trunk <trunk id> type isdn
voice trunk <trunk id> type sip
Refer to the SIP Trunk configuration guide and the Total Access 900 Series ISDN PRI
quick configuration guide for more information on voice trunks. These documents are
located on the AOS Documentation CD provided with your unit.

Usage Examples
The following example creates the new trunk T12 for use with SIP and enters the Voice Trunk
Configuration mode:
(config)#voice trunk t12 type sip
(config-T12)#

1453. Use the no form of this command to delete a configured voice trunk.
Specifies the trunk's two-digit identifier in the format Txx (for example, T12).
Configures the trunk for use with ISDN service.
Configures this trunk for use with SIP.
Command was introduced.
