vlan-id <vlan id>
Use the vlan-id command to set a virtual local area network (VLAN) ID for the MEF Ethernet
subinterface. Use the no form of this command to remove an entry. Variations of this command include:
vlan-id <vlan id>
vlan-id <vlan id> native

Default Values
By default, no VLAN ID is set.

Usage Examples
The following example configures a native VLAN of 5 for the MEF Ethernet subinterface 0/1.1:
(config)#interface mef-ethernet 0/1.1
(config-mef-ethernet 0/1.1)#vlan-id 5 native

Specifies a valid VLAN interface ID number. Range is 1 to 4095.
Optional. Specifies that data for that VLAN ID goes out untagged. If native is
not specified, data for that VLAN ID goes out tagged.
Command was introduced.
Command was expanded to include the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)
Ethernet subinterface.
