Command Reference Guide
caller-id
Use the caller-id command to configure caller identification (ID). Use the no form of this command to
cancel the setting. Variations of this command include:
caller-id delay <value>
caller-id format mdmf
caller-id format sdmf

By default, caller ID is disabled.

Usage Examples
The following example configures the caller ID delay to 500 ms:
(config)#interface fxs 2/1
(config-fxs 2/1)#caller-id delay 500

Specifies the delay between ring-off and caller ID frequency-shift keying
(
FSK). Valid range is 500 to 2000 ms. Common values are 500, 750, and
1000.
Specifies the format for caller ID as mdmf or sdmf.
Indicates the caller ID format as multiple data message format (mdmf).
Indicates the caller ID format as single data message format (sdmf).
