BAF configuration

This section summarizes how the module has been configured in the chip. For a
comprehensive description of the module itself, see the module's dedicated chapter.
6.7.9.1
Memory map
The BAF is located in a 16 KB block of flash that is mapped adjacent to the UTEST flash
memory block. The BAF block base address is 0040_4000h. It is one time programmable
(OTP) and is programmed during factory test. The address space and memory used by the
BAF code are shown in

Search boot header and boot options
The BAF searches the flash memory for the boot header, checking the first word location of
the 4 × 16 KB blocks and then the 4 × 256 KB blocks. The blocks are searched in the order
shown in the following table and once a Boot Header is found, no further blocks are
searched.
