Available Bus Variants for the Installation of an Internal S
Note: If the end device is placed a larger distance away from the PBX, the
cable and the wall sockets must be permanently installed.
• For connecting multiple end devices on one internal S
Note: The Auerswald ISDN Multiplug is available for this wiring type as
optional accessories in specialised stores.
Depending on the number of the end devices, proceed as follows.
• Single end device: Connect the end device to the RJ-45 socket on the S
• Multiple end devices: Connect the ISDN Multiplug to the RJ-45 socket that belongs to
the internal S
Further steps:
• To finish commissioning, you need to set up an internal number for the end device in the
configuration manager.

Several bus variants can be used for the installation of cables and wall sockets at the internal
S
port.

Short Passive Bus in One Direction
The short passive bus with up to 12 wall sockets is suited for the connection of several end
devices at medium distances. It supports cable lengths of up to 150 m. The terminators have
to be switched on at the internal S
