Switching Readiness of the Fax Box Depending on the Configuration On/Off
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for fax boxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Call acceptance.
2. In the list field at the top, select the fax box in question according to the name or
number.
3. Under Readiness, select one of the available options.

Switching Fax Box for a Subscriber/a Group On/Off

If a fax box is enabled for a subscriber or for a group, all incoming faxes with the fax HLC ID
sent to the internal number of the subscriber/group will immediately be forwarded to the fax
box.
Note:
If a subscriber receives an internal or external call and if it is not clear whether
this is a fax (missing fax HLC ID), the call will be signaled to the subscriber or
it will be accepted by the voice mailbox.
If a fax call without a corresponding HLC ID is accepted by the subscriber, it
can be forwarded to a fax box by means of transfer without announcement.
A fax call which is accepted by a voice mailbox will not be forwarded to a fax
box.
