Announcement before Answering

Configuring the Call Signallisation

Proceed as follows:

• Separately for groups

• Separately for configurations

• Using the configuration manager

Note: As described in the following, the setting is also possible via profiles (...

> Profiles > Configuration > Configure > ...). If the check box Profile-

controlled settings has been selected, the property set in the right-hand

column will apply. For assignment of the profile, see chapter Settings >

1. Open the page Groups > Properties > Reachability.

2. In the list field at the top, select the group in question by its name or number.

3. In the Ann. before answering list field, select one of the following options:

Off: Announcement before answering is disabled.

On busy: The caller hears the announcement before answering only if all

called group members are busy. After the announcement before answering,

the caller hears Music on Hold.

Always: The caller always hears the announcement before answering. In the

line is busy, he is put into the waiting loop after the announcement before

answering and hears Music on Hold. If the called telephones are available, the

caller hears Music on Hold also while the telephones are ringing.
