Basic Settings
For some of its functions (e. g. Call Through, call restrictors, call deblockers), the PBX needs
the prefixes of its location.
The exchange line access number is needed to request an external line (exception: Direct
Exchange Line Telephone).
You can make further settings under Public switched tel. networks > Exchange line
request.

Public Switched Telephone Networks
The configuration wizard allows you to configure the PBX for four different types of connec-
tions. Which connection type is offered for selection depends on the plugged in module type.
ISDN PTMP
This connection type will only be offered if at least one port is configured for ISDN external and
a PTMP connection.
You can make further settings under Public switched tel. networks > ISDN connections >
PTMP connection.
ISDN PTP
This connection type will only be offered if at least one port is configured for ISDN external and
a PTP connection.
You can also make these settings under Public switched tel. networks > ISDN connections
> PBX base numbers/trunk bundles.
You can make further settings under Public switched tel. networks > ISDN connections >
Extension numbers PTP connection and Public switched tel. networks > ISDN connec-
tions > Additional PBX base numbers.
Analogue
This connection type will only be offered if a COMpact 2FXO module is plugged in.
You can make further settings under Public switched tel. networks > Analogue connec-
tions.
