Entering the Address of the Outgoing Mail Server

Proceed as follows:
• Separately for outgoing mail servers.
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Knowledge of the access data for the outgoing mail server
1. Open the page Administration > E-mail > Outgoing mail server.
2. In the list field at the top, select an outgoing mail server according to its name.
3. In the Address entry field, enter the address of the outgoing mail server. Possible
entries:
Four blocks with three digits for IPv4 addresses
Eight blocks with four digits or characters for IPv6 addresses
URL (example: www.smtp.de)

Entering the Port of the Outgoing Mail Server

Proceed as follows:
• Separately for outgoing mail servers.
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Knowledge of the access data for the outgoing mail server
1. Open the page Administration > E-mail > Outgoing mail server.
2. In the list field at the top, select an outgoing mail server according to its name.
3. In the Port entry field, enter the port number (port) of the outgoing mail server.
Possible entries:
1 to 65535
