Commissioning ISDN System Telephones

The end device is ready for operation.
Commissioning ISDN System Telephones
Requirements:
• Internal number configured on the S
Telephone Numbers > Creating ISDN Subscribers)
• PBX connected to earthing (see chapter Installation and Commissioning > Preparation
(COMpact 4000) > Connecting to Earthing)
1. Connect end devices with a separate power supply to the mains.
2. Select the language.
3. Enter the internal number as an MSN for the end device.
The end device is ready for operation.

Commissioning Standard VoIP End Devices

Requirements:
• Internal number configured for VoIP (see chapter Settings > Internal Telephone Numbers >
Creating VoIP or IP DECT Subscribers)
• User password configured for the internal number
• PBX connected to earthing (see chapter Installation and Commissioning > Preparation
(COMpact 4000) > Connecting to Earthing)
1. Connect end devices with a separate power supply to the mains.
2. When configuring the end device, create a provider named "PBX" and enter the PBX
IP address as the registrar and domain.
3. When configuring the end device, create an account for the provider "PBX" and enter
the internal number for the user name and the associated user PIN as the password.
The end device logs on to the PBX.
