Detect line access code and wait (0 to 9)
A dialling pause of 3 seconds is inserted automatically after the PBX dials the number/
character string entered here.
This is needed if the central office requires a pause after the specified line access code is
dialled.
Loop current detection
Requirements:
• The loop current detection function to detect the network provider's line connection
The PBX checks whether loop current is present on the line on which the call is to be made.
Notes:
If loop current is detected, the line is used.
If no loop current is detected, the PBX treats the line as if it is either not
enabled or not present.
Start of Call (Outgoing Calls)
Delay time after the last dialled digit (1-30 seconds)
The waiting time after the last dialled digit specifies the time after which the PBX will recognise
that dialling has been completed. Time measurement restarts after the entry of each digit. After
the selected time has passed, the PBX recognises the most recent digit as the final digit and
will not allow any more numbers to be entered.
Notes:
Select as short a time as possible, because the PBX does not forward the last
number to the central office until the specified time has passed.
Approximately three seconds is the default value for manual inputs.
You can always press # (the hash key) when you finish dialling the phone
number to keep the waiting time between dialling the last number and the
connection being set up to a minimum. The PBX recognises this character as
the end of the phone number.
