Configuring the SFTP Server

SFTP Server
The SFTP network protocol is used for the secure data transfer between the PBX and external
programs. For this purpose, the PBX uses an SFTP server from which call data files can be
downloaded.
Enable the SFTP server if you want to forward this file to external programs (e.g. evaluation
programs).
Configuring the SFTP Server
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Select or clear the SFTP server check box under SFTP server.
3. If you have enabled the SFTP server, enter the password in the Password entry field
under SFTP server. Possible entries:
8 to 32 digits
Digits:
Characters: a- z, A- Z, no German umlauts and ß
Special characters

To change current passwords, click on
For registering at the SFTP server of the PBX an external program requires
the user name and password. The user name is predefined
displayed under User name.
A coloured bar under the entry field shows the security level of the password
(red = low level, green = high level).
Passwords with a low security level can not be saved.
