Switching the Replacement Function On/Off

Note: If the recording is enabled, the setting Save short messages applies
as a Standard behaviour and Recording also applies to the call-specific
behaviour.
Switching the Replacement Function On/Off
If the replacement function is enabled, a caller can set up a connection to a replacement. For
this purpose, the caller dials
Additionally, the announcement can be selected which will be replayed to callers if the
replacement function is enabled.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Separately for configurations
• Using the configuration manager
Note: As described in the following, the setting can also be made in configu-
ration-dependent mode via profiles (... > Profiles > Configuration >
Configure > ...). In step 2, no selection is made from the list field. Instead,
the Profile-controlled settings check box is selected or cleared.
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• Corresponding announcement saved in the PBX
• Enabled Readiness of the voice mailbox
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Call acceptance/
Announcement.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. Select or clear the Replacement function check box.
