Introduction to the Configuration Manager

Configuration Manager

Opening the Configuration Manager

Configuration Manager
With the configuration manager, you can easily configure the PBX on your computer. It can be
reached via the integrated web server on the PBX. The required PC is connected either directly
to a Ethernet port on the PBX or it must be on the same network.
Opening the Configuration Manager
Opening can be carried out at the following authorisations:
• As an administrator
• As a sub-administrator
• As a user
Note:
Every login is logged (see Monitoring > System messages). Additionally
this information can be sent as a system e-mail (see Administration >
System messages).
After the third failed login attempt, for a minute it is not possible to log in. This
blocking period will be increased after another three failed login attempts.
Since the administrator may block parts of the PBX, you may not be able to
configure all of the settings in the configuration manager if you are logged in
as a user or a sub-administrator (see chapter Settings > Protection from
Unauthorised Access > Configuring Access Authorisation)
Open the Configuration Manager as an Administrator
Requirements:
• A PC meeting the minimum requirements (see chapter Important Information > Minimum
Requirements PC)
• An existing Ethernet connection between the PC and the PBX or both the PC and the PBX
on the same network
• Knowledge of the IP address on the PBX
