Restoring the Firmware in use Prior to the Firmware Update
The PBX retains not only the current firmware but also the firmware previously used in the flash
memory. If necessary, the old firmware can be restored.
Caution: The PBX reboots automatically after you restore the previous
firmware. This interrupts all the connections with the web server, all the calls
and the data services. Unsaved data gets lost!
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
• By clicking a button on the PBX
Using the Configuration Manager to Restore Firmware
Requirements:
• Firmware update, carried out
1. Open the page Administration > Firmware update/restart.
2. Click Restore firmware under Restore firmware (reboot).
3. Click Yes.
The previous firmware is restored. Afterwards a message is displayed.
