IP Blacklist and Whitelist as Protection Against Attacks from the Internet
Note:
The global block deletes all further entries (single blocks) from the blacklist.
When you open the page it first shows the status, which is automatically
updated every 30 seconds.
Important: All the entries in the blacklists are deleted when you reboot the
PBX.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP black- and whitelist.
2. Select or clear the Activate IP blacklist check box.
Further steps:
• Enter the IP addresses in the IP whitelist that are not to be blocked, even if high levels of
traffic come from them.
Deleting IP Restrictions
The administrator can view automatically configured restrictions, and if necessary cancel them,
in the IP blacklists.
1. Open one of the following pages:
• Administration > IP black- and whitelist > IPv4 blacklist
• Administration > IP black- and whitelist > IPv6 blacklist
Note: The IPv6 blacklist will only be displayed, if the use of IPv6 has been
enabled (Administration > IP configuration.
2. In the IP address column, click the required IP address.
3. Click:
• Delete to delete the IP address from the IP blacklist.
