Switching IPv6 On/Off

Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone (see section Short Reference)
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Select or clear the UPnP check box under SERVER CONFIGURATION.
Switching IPv6 On/Off
If IPv6 is switched on, an IP address complying with version 6 of the Internet protocol can be
assigned to the PBX. Thanks to the greater length of IPv6 addresses (eight blocks with four
digits each, example: 3001:00FF:ABC0:0EAC:0001:0000:0000:000F), IPv6 offers a greater
number of available IP addresses than version 4 of the Internet protocol (IPv4).
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Administration > IP configuration.
2. Click IPv6 configuration under ETHERNET CONFIGURATION.
3. In the IPv6 status list field, select one of the following options:
IPv6 disabled: Switches the use of IPv6 addresses off.
IPv6 SLAAC: Automatically assigns an IPv6 address to the PBX.
IPv6 static: Assigns a user-defined IPv6 address to the PBX.

Configuring the IPv6 Address of the PBX

If you have selected the option IPv6 static, you can enter the IPv6 address, the prefix length
and the IPv6 gateway yourself.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
