PBX Time

The PBX has an internal clock that returns the PBX time (time and date) on the connected end
devices. If the end device is so equipped, the PBX time will be displayed on the end device.
Furthermore, the PBX time is required to carry out functions such as switching configurations
as well as wake-ups.
During a power failure or PBX reset, the PBX time is lost. There are several ways to update it:
• Manually
• Via the network
• Using the buffered real-time clock – saves the time for approx. two hours in the case of a
power outage.
• Via ISDN/external S

Note: The switch to/from daylight savings is done automatically for the PBX
time.

Configuring PBX Time (Time and Date) Manually

Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone (see section Short Reference)
Using the Configuration Manager to Manually Configure the PBX Time
1. Open the page Settings > Date/Time of the PBX.
2. Select the option Manual under ONE-TIME CONFIGURATION OF DATE / TIME.
3. In the Time entry field, enter the correct time. Possible entries:
Time in hh format: mm : ss
4. In the Date entry field, enter the current date. Possible entries:
