Basic Assembly
The basic assembly on the PBX includes the following connection options:
• 1 Ethernet port
• 1 USB host port
• 2 S
/U
ports (internal/external)

P0
• 8 internal analogue ports
The basic assembly on the PBXs includes the following channels:
• 4 VoIP channels for internal IP and Internet telephony (SIP-compliant in accordance with
RFC 3261; support for VoIP Codecs G.711 (µ-Law/a-Law), G.726, iLBC;, thereof one
channel usable for voice mail functions with one voice mailbox
Important:
Using the voice mail channel will result in the loss of one VoIP channel.
The fax function is not included in the basic assembly.
It is not possible to use the voice mail channel without inserted USB memory
stick (not included in the scope of delivery).
The basic assembly offers the following unlockable functions/resources for the PBXs:
• 10 configurations
• 18000 call data records
• Project-related calls (project numbers)
• Call Through calls (Call Through for all lines)
• LAN-TAPI for 4 subscribers
• Soft-LCR for all subscribers
Hardware Extensions
The PBX has 2 variable module slots for the following modules:
• COMpact 2FXO module – extends the PBX with 2 additional external analogue ports.
• COMpact 2BRI module – extends the PBX with 2 ports (each with 2 RJ-45 sockets) which
can be separatly configured for S
jumper.
