Configuring E-Mail Transfer For Voice Mailbox - Auerswald COMpact 4000 Operation Manual

1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Box settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. In the Call take-over list field, select one of the following options:
global: Every internal subscriber is permitted to take over calls.
Authorised users: Every owner or user is permitted to take over calls. If a
group is owner or user, every group member can take over calls.

Configuring E-mail Transfer for Voice Mailbox

For a voice mailbox it can be configured in which cases e-mails will be automatically set for
notification via the selected outgoing mail server.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• Configured outgoing mail server (under Administration > E-mail > Outgoing mail server)

3. In the Outgoing mail server list field, select one of the following options under E-mail
transfer:
Standard: The e-mails are transferred via the default outgoing mail server.
Name of an outgoing mail server: The e-mails are transferred via the selected
outgoing mail server.
4. Select or clear the Send e-mail in HTML format check box under E-mail transfer.
