Switching Message Forwarding On/Off

If message forwarding is enabled, incoming new messages will be forwarded to the configured
destination.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Box settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. Select or clear the Message forwarding check box.
4. If you have enabled message forwarding, enter the domain in the Destination
number entry field under Message forwarding. Possible entries:
Internal number
External number with exchange line access number
5. In the Forwarding after entry field under Message forwarding, enter the number of
new messages after which the forwarding is to be started (depending on the
configured Notification period). Possible entries:
1
to 20: The forwarding begins after receipt of 1 to 20 new messages.
6. In the Notification period list field under Message forwarding, select one of the
following options:
daily: The messages will be forwarded in the time period defined under from
... o'clock until ... o'clock.
Mon - Fri to Sun: The messages will be forwarded on the selected weekdays
in the time period defined under from ... o'clock until ... o'clock.
7. In the Number of repetitions list field under Message forwarding, select one of the
available options.
8. In the list field with... Min. pause, specify the duration of the pause (in minutes)
between the forwarding attempts.
