1. Open the page Hardware > Port configuration.
2. Under Connection type select one of the available options for the S
Note:
If the settings for the module are marked in red, the module is selected but
not inserted, or its jumpers are not configured as set in the configuration
manager.
No selection of the connection type is possible for internal S
fixed on PTMP connection.
The numbers under Port are equal to the corresponding numbers on the
circuit board.

This function allows the permanent activation of the layer 1 for the individual external S
The PBX checks if the layer 1 has been enabled or is idle by the network provider. If this
function is switched on that the activation is requested as soon as the layer 1 is idled by the
network provider. So e.g. a delay time for the dial tone is avoided.
If this function, e.g., causes too many problems for exchange lines outside of Germany, it can
be disabled.
Proceed as follows:
