Switching Echo Cancellation for VoIP Subscribers On/Off

1. Open the following page:
• For admin: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties
• For user: Subscriber Properties.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Click the VoIP settings tab.
4. Enter a value in the Jitter buffer entry field. Possible entries:
40
to 160: The size of the jitter buffer in milliseconds (duration of the audio
signals).
Lower values: A lower number of RTP packets can be cached in order to buffer
disruptions or to compensate for them.
Greater values: A greater number of RTP packets can be cached in order to
buffer disruptions or to compensate for them.
Note: You can configure the jitter buffer for VoIP providers on the page
Public switched tel. networks > Voice over IP (VoIP) > Provider >
Configure.
Switching Echo Cancellation for VoIP Subscribers On/Off
If the echo cancellation option is switched on, the system compensates for local echoes and
reverberation effects during internal VoIP calls.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for VoIP subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the following page:
• As administrator: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties.
• As a user: Subscriber properties.
2. In the list field at the top, use the relevant subscriber's name or number to select them.
3. Click the VoIP settings tab.
