Switching Authorisation for Private Exchange Line Access without PIN Entry On/Off

1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##91.
3. Enter the external number. Possible entries:
External number
preceding exchange line access number)
Short code number
telephone: with preceding **)
You are making a personal call.
Switching Authorisation for Private Exchange Line Access without PIN Entry On/
Off
If the authorisation for private exchange line access without PIN entry is enabled, the
subscriber is able to make private calls without entering a user PIN but only on his own
telephone.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the following page:
• For admin: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Settings.
• For user: Subscriber Properties > Settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear the Private exchange line access without PIN check box.
Note: When authorisation is granted for initiating personal calls without a
PIN, there is no protection against misuse by other internal users.
