7. Click Save.
8. Repeat step 2 to 7 to enter additional numbers.
Further steps:
• If required, change the automatically generated PINs and passwords (see chapter Settings
> Protection from Unauthorised Access > Configuring User PINs and Passwords).

Creating VoIP or IP DECT Subscribers

VoIP subscribers are end devices which are connected to the ethernet port. IP DECT
subscribers are DECT handsets which are operated on a COMfortel WS-400 IP or COMfortel
WS-650 IP. Assign internal numbers for these subscribers. The phone numbers are used to
access the end devices via the PBX (internal IP telephony).
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Internal VoIP channel (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Subscriber (scr.) > Phone numbers.
2. Click New.
3. Enter a new internal number in the from entry field. Possible entries:
2 to 4 digits in the range of
