Switching the Busy Tone for the End of Call On/Off

Switching the Busy Tone for the End of Call On/Off
If busy signal for end of call is enabled, the PBX generates a busy signal at the end of the call
(e.g., the communication partner hangs up).
For some answering machines, this busy signal does not interrupt a recording. These
answering machines cannot differentiate between the busy signal and speech. For such cases,
the busy signal can be disabled.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the following page:
• For admin: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Settings
• For user: Subscriber Properties > Settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear the Busy tone at end of call check box under Signallisation by
tones.

Switching the Special Dial Tone On/Off

If the special dial tone is enabled, the PBX generates a special dial tone to bring attention to a
configured function (do-not-disturb, baby call (connection without dialling)) or that call data
memory has reached capacity.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the following page:
• For admin: Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Settings
• For user: Subscriber Properties > Settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
