Permanent Configuration

4. In the column Add/Replace select one of the available options.
5. In the column Target select the weekday to which the switching times should be
copied.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Close.
Permanent Configuration
For situations where your settings are supposed to apply even after configuration switchovers,
you can use the so-called permanent configuration. If permanent configuration is enabled, the
configuration-dependent settings will be overridden by the permanent configuration settings.
The following functions can use the permanent configuration:
• Call forwarding of one's own external number (CF for MSNs, DDI numbers, or additional
numbers)
• Readiness of the voice mail/fax boxes
Note: The permanent configuration for CF and the voice mailboxes/fax boxes
are set independent of each other and do not depend on each other. You can
set the Readiness for voice mail and fax boxes under Devices > Voice mail/
fax boxes > Properties > Call acceptance/Announcements.

Switching Permanent Configuration On/Off for Call Forwarding

If permanent configuration for call forwarding is enabled, the configuration-dependent settings
will be overridden by the permanent configuration settings.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone (see section Short Reference)
