Configuring Ringing Sequence

Configuring Ringing Sequence
Note: As described in the following, the setting is also possible via profiles (...
> Profiles > Configuration > Configure > ...). If the check box Profile-
controlled settings has been selected, the property set in the right-hand
column will apply. For assignment of the profile, see chapter Settings >
Profiles.
Here you can define how incoming calls will ring on logged-in group members.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for groups
• Separately for configurations
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Groups > Properties > Basic settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the group in question by its name or number.
3. In the Ringing sequence list field, select one of the following options:
All: All subscribers logged-in to the group will ring simultaneously. It is possible
to configure a delayed ringing for selected subscribers on the page Groups >
Properties > Basic settings. These subscriber will start to ring after the delay
time configured under after:. If a call was not accepted, although all logged-in
members of the group were called, the call would be finished with a busy
signal.
All - Split Group: The call is handled almost similar to the ringing sequence
All. The only difference is the way multiple calls to the group are handled: If the
group receives further calls during an active call, the group will be split into
several smaller groups ringing for a specific active call. But there will never ring
more calls in the group than the number of free available group members.
Additional calls will be rejected with a busy then. If a call is accepted the other
telephones ringing so far for this call are assigned to the other pending calls
and will immediately start to ring again. If a group member finishes a call, this
subscriber will immediately ring again for the pending calls. If a ringing delay
was configured for group members (see Groups > Properties > Basic
settings), the timer for the call delay (after:) starts after receiving the first call
to the group and will not restart for additional incoming calls.
