Configuring Follow-me
Requirements:
• Authorisation for CF (groups) / Follow-me
• Authorisation for Controlling of the PBX via telephone
• For internal destination: Minimum requirement - exchange line authorisation Only
incoming, with emergency call to accept forwarded external calls
• For call forwarding to an external number: Authorisation Configuring CF (sub) to ext.
number
• For call forwarding to an external number: The external destination must be reachable for
the subscriber (minimum requirement: Exchange line authorisation National, selected call
restrictor under Exchange line settings Call restrictor (outgoing) - business does not
restrict the selection of the external destination)
• For configuring Follow-me externally: Knowledge of the Remote switching number for
remote programming and PIN (External PIN)
– For configuring Follow-me externally: DTMF dialling at the configuring device
1. Open one of the following pages:
• for subscribers: Subscriber (scr.) >Properties > Reachability
• for groups: Groups > Properties > Reachability
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber/group in question by name or number.
3. In the Destination number entry field under
destination number. Possible entries:
External number
Short-code number
Internal number of the individual telephone
Internal number of the line group
4. Click Save, to enable Follow-me (internal/extern).
Note: Delete the destination number to switch off Follow-me (internal/
external).
