Entering the Dead Time of the Door Terminal

1. Open the page Devices > Door terminals.
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding door terminal.
3. Enter DTMF sequences required by the connected device in the Activate
connection and Finish connection entry fields. Possible entries:
Digits and the characters * and #
The comma ',' character as a pause of half a second
Entering the Dead Time of the Door Terminal
The PBX uses DTMF sequences to control the analogue door terminals. For this purpose, the
PBX needs to know how much time the connected device requires to be ready for reception
again after receiving DTMF sequences (see the manual of the device in question).
The dead time of the door terminal determines how many milliseconds the PBX will wait before
it sends DTMF sequences to the connected device again.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for door terminals
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Created analogue door terminal
1. Open the page Devices > Door terminals.
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding door terminal.
3. Enter the time required by the connected device in the Dead time entry field, Possible
entries:
0
to 3000: The PBX will wait 0 for 3000 milliseconds before it sends DTMF
sequences to the connected device again.
