Entering the Dead Time of the Announcement Output

Requirements:
• Created analogue announcement output
1. Open the page Devices > Announcement outputs.
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding announcement output.
3. Enter DTMF sequences required by the connected device in the Activate
connection and Finish connection entry fields. Possible entries:
Digits and the characters * and #
The comma ',' character as a pause of half a second
4. Click
Save.
Entering the Dead Time of the Announcement Output
The PBX uses DTMF sequences to control the analogue announcement outputs. For this
purpose, the PBX needs to know how much time the connected device requires to be ready for
reception again after receiving DTMF sequences (see the manual of the device in question).
The dead time of the announcement output determines how many milliseconds the PBX will
wait before it sends DTMF sequences to the announcement output again.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for announcement outputs
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Created analogue announcement output
1. Open the page Devices > Announcement outputs.
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding announcement output.
3. Enter the time required by the connected device in the Dead time entry field. Possible
entries:
0
to 3000: The PBX will wait 0 for 3000 milliseconds before it sends DTMF
sequences to the announcement output again.
