Switching Preferred Exchange Line for Subscriber On/Off

Preferred Exchange Line
If a telephone should use primarily specific external connections, several preferred exchange
lines for business and/or private calls may be configured for the corresponding group or
subscriber.
Switching Preferred Exchange Line for Subscriber On/Off
If a preferred exchange line has been enabled for a subscriber, outgoing calls of this subscriber
will be routed via the preferred exchange line.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
Note: If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are
enabled, two different configurations can be created for each subscriber –
one for private calls and one for business calls (see also chapter Functions >
Private (Personalised) Exchange Line Access > Switching Differently Config-
urable Functions for Private and Business Calls On/Off).
• Separately for configurations
• Using the configuration manager
Note: As described in the following, the setting is also possible via profiles (...
> Profiles > Configuration > Configure > ...). If the check box Profile-
controlled settings has been selected, the property set in the right-hand
column will apply. For assignment of the profile, see chapter Settings >
Profiles.
Requirements:
• Configured external numbers
1. Open the page Subscriber (scr.) > Properties > Exchange line settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
