Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• Readiness enabled
• Disabled Replacement function
• If Box announcement is selected: the corresponding announcement saved in the PBX
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Call acceptance/
Announcement.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. In the Call type list field under Call-specific behaviour (exception table), select one
of the following options:
Anonymous callers: Call acceptance for calls without transferred phone
number.
Internal calls: Call acceptance for internal calls.
Door calls: Call acceptance for door calls.
External calls: Call acceptance for external calls.
User-defined: Call acceptance for calls from the entered phone number range
(Ext. phone number/range, e. g.
4. In the Call acceptance list field under Call-specific behaviour (exception table),
select one of the following options:
Standard: For call acceptance see Call acceptance/announcement under
Standard behaviour.
No call acceptance: No reaction on calls, the caller hears the call tone.
Reject call: The caller hears the busy signal (subscriber/group will not be
called additionally) or the call tone (subscriber/group will be called).
Standard announcement: The announcement of the selected language file
will be replayed (see Language of the announcements under Devices >
Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Box settings). (No further action is
required.)
Box announcement: The announcement of the voice mailbox selected in the
Announcement list field (Announcement 1 to 10) will be replayed.
5. Select or clear the Recording check box under Call-specific behaviour (exception
table) to define whether a caller can leave a message or not.
