Fax Transfer
The fax function of the PBX supports fax transfer in combination with a corresponding PC appli-
cation. The required Auerswald Fax printer driver has to be installed on the PC used.
The Auerswald Fax printer driver transfers the document to be faxed to the PBX that subse-
quently saves the document for the fax box used and sends it in the background using the
corresponding fax identification. If the destination of the fax is not available (busy or no reply),
two further dial-up attempts will automatically be made by the PBX.
Installing Printer Driver Auerswald Fax on PC
The printer driver Auerswald Fax has to be installed on the PC used. It is provided to you in
the Internet (see www.auerswald.de/service).
Requirements:
• PC with operating system Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 2008
Server R2 64 Bit (incl. Windows Terminal Server)
1. Download the Auerswald Fax printer driver and start the driver installation by double-
clicking the Setup.exe application file.
2. Select the desired language and click OK.
3. Click Next.
4. Read the license agreement and subsequently click I accept the terms of the
license agreement. Click Next.
The Auerswald Fax printer driver is installed.
5. Click Continue anyway (this text is depending on the browser used).
6. Click Finish.
Configuring the Printer Driver Auerswald Fax
Before transferring the first fax using the Auerswald Fax printer driver, at least one fax box of
the PBX has to be configured in the printer driver.
