Saving Configuration Data from the PC/Data Storage Device in the PBX

Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Important: Saving an old configuration overwrites the current configuration
data.
Note: A configuration file that was created with an older firmware version,
may possibly not contain all of the configuration data (for example, data for
new functions that were added by a firmware update).
Requirements:
• A configuration file (*.cfg) saved on a data storage device (PC)
1. Open the page Administration > Data backup.
2. Select or clear the check boxes of the required data under STORE CONFIGU-
RATION DATA IN THE PBX.
3. Click Store in the PBX under STORE CONFIGURATION DATA IN THE PBX.
4. Click Browse (this text is dependent on the browser used).
5. Select the configuration file (*.cfg) you want and click Open (this text is dependent on
the operating system used).
6. Click Import.
The configuration data are saved in the PBX.

Important:
Note the following legal notes before saving the data backup.
The data backup includes, amongst others, the following legally especially
protected components:
