Adopting a Contact from the Call Data List

3. Click Browse. (This text varies according to which browser you are using).
4. Select the required contact data record (*.vcf) and click Open. (This text varies
according to which operating system you are using).
The file is displayed in the entry field.
5. Click Import data.
The contact is saved and displayed in All contacts view.
Note:
If a contact with identical contact data is already present, the error message
A vCard with this data has already been imported! is displayed. Click
Continue to return to the contact list without importing a new contact.
If the contact is already present, but with different contact data, a new contact
is created.
The contact is automatically assigned to the specified standard contact
groups.
Adopting a Contact from the Call Data List
The External Partner and External name contact data displayed in the call data list can be
used as the basis for creating a new contact in All contacts view.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• For users: write access to at least one contact group
1. Open the page User data > Call data > Call data list.
2. In the line that contains the required call data record, click
Note: The External name column under User data > Call data > Print
options must be checked.
This opens a new page containing the basic data for creating a new contact.
