Configuring the Operating Mode

Configuring the Operating Mode
Relays can have various functions on the PBX. For a detailed description of the operating
modes, refer to the chapter Functions > Relays (Actuators) > Relay Operating Modes.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Created Relay
1. Open the page Devices > Relays (Actuators).
2. In the Operating mode list field in the line of the corresponding relay, select one of
the available options.
3. Depending on the selected operating mode, proceed as follows:
• When selecting Speaking: Select the door terminal or the announcement output
in the list field. Click Ok.
• When selecting Door opener, Light: Select the door terminal in the list field. Click
Ok.
• When selecting Alarm: Select the corresponding alarm in the list field. Click Ok.
• When selecting PC relay subscriber: Select the corresponding subscriber in the
list field. Click Ok.
• When selecting Second ringer: Select the corresponding subscriber or the corre-
sponding group in the list field. Click Ok.
Note: To learn how you can assign a door call to a relay with the operating
mode Second ringer, refer to the chapter Functions > Door Functions >
Configuring a Second Ringer for Door Calls.
• When selecting Configuration dependent: Select the check box/es for the corre-
sponding configuration/s. Click Ok.
• When selecting Slave relay: Select the corresponding relay in the list field. Click
Ok.
