Activating Alarms

Alarm waiting time
Specifies how many seconds elapse before an alarm is repeated, if it has not been acknowl-
edged.
Activating Alarms
An alarm can only be triggered off if the alarm input is enabled.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for alarms
• Using the configuration manager
• Using a character string on an internal telephone (see section Short Reference)
• Using a character string on an external telephone (see section Short Reference)
Requirements:
• Created Alarm
1. Open the page Devices > Alarms.
2. In the Activate alarm list field in the line for the corresponding alarm, select one of
the following options:
off: The alarm input is disabled.
once: The alarm can be initiated only once. Subsequently, the alarm input will
be disabled and has to be enabled once again.
always: After an alarm is triggered off, the alarm input continues to be active. A
further alarm can be triggered off.
