Fax Box
Operating and Querying a Fax Box
• For admin: User data > Messages
• For user: Messages (voicemail or fax box).
2. In the list field at the top, select the fax box in question according to its name or
number.
3. In the Filter list field, select one of the following options:
all: Shows all faxes which have not yet been moved to the archive.
new: Shows only new faxes.
today to last month: Shows all faxes received in the specified time period
which have not yet been archived.
Archive: Shows all faxes moved to the archive.
4. In the Direction list field, select one of the following options.
all: All faxes (transferred and received) will be displayed.
received: Shows only received faxes.
sent: Shows only sent faxes.
The faxes are listed in a table with the following columns:
Status: Indicates whether it is a new or already queried fax. New faxes are
marked by
can change the status of the faxes by clicking the envelope symbol (new ->
queried or queried -> new).
Date/Time: Shows the date and time when the fax was received/sent.
Pages: Shows the number of pages of the fax. In addition, the following
symbols are used to indicate whether the corresponding fax has been received
or sent and whether the transmission was successful.
This is a transferred fax. The transmission was successful.

This is a received fax. The transmission was successful.
This is a received fax. The transmission was unsuccessful.
Caller: Shows the external number from which the fax was received or to
which the fax was sent.
Name: Shows the name of the caller.
• External caller: Name in the telephone book or presented via CNIP
• Internal caller: Internal name
Call destination: Shows the number to which the fax was sent.
Line: Shows your own external number dialled by the external caller. If the
own external number is assigned a name using the configuration manager, this
name will be displayed instead of the number.
