Monitoring VoIP Status

Proceed as follows:
• Using the Configuration Manager (
The status of the VoIP accounts is shown in three areas of the logon procedure (STUN
request, Registration and Outbound proxy). These areas stand for the important steps for
establishing a connection via the VoIP account.
The status of the VoIP accounts is indicated by a coloured dot. At system start, all of the dots
are first shown in grey until an error occurs (red dot) or the requests are completed successfully
(green dot).
Note: When you open the page it first shows the status, which is automati-
cally refreshed every 30 seconds.
In each area of the log-in procedure, a DNS query is performed first, and then the response
from the DNS server is evaluated. If an error occurs (red dot), first check the following possible
causes:
• The PBX is not connected to the network (cable is not inserted or is defective).
• The DSL modem is defective.
• If operations in the same network are unaffected, check the PBX's network configuration
(ETHERNET CONFIGURATION or DNS CONFIGURATION, see Administration > IP
configuration).
If this does not produce any results, check the status of the individual areas:
