Entering the SIP Password of the Door Terminal

To create a connection with a VoIP door terminal, the PBX needs the SIP password of the
connected device (see manual and settings of the device in question).
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for door terminals
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Created VoIP door terminal
1. Open the page Devices > Door terminals.
2. Click Configure in the line for the corresponding door terminal.
3. Enter the SIP password required by the connected device in the SIP password entry
field.

Creating a Door Call and Assigning it to the Door Terminal

The door bell buttons of a door terminal can be used to initiate configuration-dependent internal
and external door calls. For this purpose, the door bell buttons must be created as switch inputs
in the PBX. They must then be allocated call destinations and assigned to the door terminal.
To detect a door call, e. g. because a door bell button has been pressed, the PBX needs to
know which DTMF sequence or which SIP invite the connected device sends in this case (see
manual and settings of the device in question).
Note: The DTMF sequence or the SIP invite usually is the phone number
assigned to the door bell button within the door terminal. After the door
terminal has been configured in the configuration of the PBX, the door call
distribution will be controlled completely – including configuration-
dependently – by the PBX.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for configurations
• Using the configuration manager
