Creating a Relay

6. Enter the IP address required by the connected device in the IP address entry field.
Possible entries:
IP address with a range of 0 to 255 (example: 192.168.0.240)
7. Enter the port required by the connected device in the Port entry field. Possible
entries:
1 to 65535
Note: Normally, the default port is port 80.
8. Enter the user name required by the connected device in the User name entry field.
9. Enter the password required by the connected device in the Password entry field.
10. Enter the names of the relays in the Name entry field.
Note: Relays which are offered in the device template, but are not needed,
can be deleted. To do so, click
11. Click Save.
12. Click Close.
Note:
To change the settings for the IP switch relay created in this way, click
Configure in the line of the corresponding IP switch relay on the page
Devices > Device wizard.
To create further configurations for the relays, open the page Devices >
Relays (Actuators). The configuration is described in the following.
To reset the IP switch relay to the default settings of the device template,
delete the IP switch relay on the page Devices > Device wizard and create
the IP switch relay again.

Relays can have various functions on the PBX. For a detailed description of the operating
modes, refer to the chapter Functions > Relays (Actuators) > Relay Operating Modes.
