MISCELLANEOUS
Name of the PTMP Connection
Freely selectable name. This name is used to identify the port within the PBX.
GSM
The S
port supports the GSM gateway connected to it. Any phone numbers can be used
0
for the connection. They must be entered in the PBX and GSM gateway configurations.
Notes:
When you configure the GSM gateway, you must also input the connection
type of the ISDN connection.
GSM gateways accept external telephone calls automatically. This may
cause call charges for the caller, even if no-one picks up the telephone at the
internal destination.
If the PBX is not connected to the land line, outgoing external calls can only
be accepted via a targeted exchange line access using the phone numbers
entered on the page Routing > VoIP/GSM Routing > Exception numbers
(and the corresponding accesses, also configured on this page) or via a
configured preferred exchange line (exchange line settings for subscribers
or groups).
CALL FORWARDING/ROUTING
Call Forwarding via
Network Provider: Calls are forwarded by the central office. This prevents multiple call
channels from being used when the system's own external phone numbers are being
forwarded.
PBX (2nd call channel): The PBX uses an existing, free call channel to forward the call. The
charges for this additional connection established by the PBX are billed to the PBX operator.
For call forwarding via the PBX, use any available call channel
When an external phone number is forwarded, the call can be forwarded via a call channel
on any of the other ports.
A call can only be redirected via a call channel on the same port. The probability that the call
cannot be forwarded because the channels are busy is therefore higher.
