Voice Mail and Fax Boxes
Voice Mailbox
Configuring Users and their Authorisations for a Voice Mailbox
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• Configured internal subscribers and/or groups
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > User/Authorisa-
tions.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. Click New.
4. In the From ... Until entry fields under User select the required user(s) you want to
assign to the voice mailbox.
5. Click Save.
6. Select or clear the check boxes in the line of the corresponding users under Admin-
istrate announcements. As a result, the authorisations will be expanded or
restricted.
• Recording, storing in the PBX, reading from the PBX (downloading), listening to
and deleting of announcements.
• Properties of the box under CALL ACCEPTANCE/ANNOUNCEMENT, which are
not controlled via a profile.
7. Select or clear the check boxes in the line of the corresponding users under Admin-
istrate settings. As a result, the authorisations will be expanded or restricted.
• Properties of the box not controlled via a profile (except Users/authorisations
and under Box settings the maximum recording capacity).
Note: Only a user is permitted to change these settings via telephone.
