APIPA
APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing) allows network interfaces to be configured automat-
ically. A device that supports APIPA allocates itself a random IP address from the range
169.254.1.0 to 169.254.254.255 or has a permanent IP address from the APIPA address
range.

Central Office

CLIP No Screening
CLIP no Screening is a telephone service for outgoing calls. This function allows the party
called to see a customer-defined phone number instead of the phone number assigned by the
network provider.
In this context, no Screening means that the customer-defined number is not checked by the
central office against the assigned numbers. It may contain any phone number you define (e.g.,
a service phone number).
Note:
The presence of this service depends on the service provider you are using.
