Connecting a VoIP End Device to the Ethernet Port

VoIP End Devices
This section describes the connection of different VoIP end devices to the Ethernet port.
The COMpact 4000 has four VoIP channels for internal IP telephony by default. By means of
an activation in the Upgrade-Center (for a fee), the PBX can be extended by another set of four
VoIP channels to a total of eight VoIP channels (see chapter Important Information > Product
Details > Basic Assembly and Extensions).
Warning: Touching voltage-carrying conductors or telephone connections
can cause life-threatening electric shocks.
